The Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Dai-Zong-Fang(DZF) has long been used in the treatment of metabolic disorders such as obesity, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes. The gut microbiota profoundly influences the occurrence and development of metabolic disorders by regulating intestinal barrier function, absorption, and metabolic processes. This study investigates the regulatory effects of DZF on the gut microbiota using db/db mice, a disease model with leptin receptor deficiency.
