Rural residents' income and related driving factors in China's 1871 counties and four economic regions

The road data was sourced from the OpenStreetMap (OSM) database, which was calculated using the zoning statistics tool in ArcGIS. The digital rural index was obtained from the Peking University Open Research Data (https://opendata.pku.edu.cn), and the 2018 digital rural index was employed as a substitute due to the unavailability of data for 2010. Demographic and socio-economic data were provided by China Population Census (2010/2020) and China County Statistical Yearbook (2011/2021) (http://data.cnki.net).
