ARAACOM

ARAACOM is a dataset specifically designed for Algerian Arabic newspaper comments, developed by a research team from Chlef University, Algeria. This dataset compiles comments from three reputable Algerian newspaper websites, and is intended for sentiment classification of these comments into two categories: positive and negative using machine learning approaches. During the dataset construction, the research team employed the MATTER method for annotation, and evaluated the dataset with classifiers including Support Vector Machine, Naive Bayes, and k-Nearest Neighbors. This dataset is primarily utilized to tackle the challenges of Arabic sentiment analysis, particularly when processing non-standard Arabic sentences and French sentences.
