Computed tomography images of cardiovascular disease

The dataset is collected to investigate the diagnostic applications of computed tomography (CT) visualisation tools in patients with cardiovascular disease. In particular, 3D visualisations are generated in each patients and the clinical value of 3D visualisations are compared with traditional 2D visualisations. 3D visualisations have been confirmed to provide additional value for accurate assessment of cardiovascular disease. The dataset consists of computed tomographic images that were acquired from patients diagnosed with cardiovascular disease (aortic aneurysm, coronary artery disease, carotid artery disease). Fifty anonymous patient case studies were collected with each case having 400-600 images. The original DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) images are stored in the datasets.
