In the year 2022, the domestic tourists arriving to the state of Punjab accounted for approximately 27 million, while the foreign tourist arrivals accounted for over 330 thousand. Punjab, literally meaning land of five rivers, is a northern state with a diverse culture rooted in agriculture. In recent years, it emerged as a region with growing tourism, promoting spiritual, cultural and ecotourism.
