Modulation of gene expression in immune related organs by in-ovo stimulation with probiotics and prophybiotics in broiler chickens

The current study was performed to further investigate the tissue specific immune modulation and metabolic gene regulation of these in-ovo stimulated chickens. Accordingly, the expression of immune related genes was determined in the secondary immune organs, cecal tonsils and the spleen as well as the liver which is an important organ for both the immune system and metabolism. Additionally, the expression of the genes related to metabolism was also analyzed in the liver.
