Data and R code for: "Pronounced temporal variability of plant-pollinator networks in response to changing precipitation in the southern Chihuahuan Desert"

This repository contains the original raw data and R scripts used to analyze the temporal variation of plant-pollinator networks in a semi-arid scrubland near central Mexico across two years with contrasting precipitation. The dataset was created by conducting monthly surveys of pollination interactions along pre-established fire trails used as transects in the study site, through direct observation of flowering plants complemented by video recording. From these data, the R scripts allow the reconstruction of two annual and six seasonal interaction networks, the characterization of their intra- and interannual variation in terms of link composition, structure, and robustness, the identification of network nodes with key structural roles, the exploration of rainfall effects on network variability, and the computation of sampling completeness estimates. One of the scripts further provides the rationale for season delimitation.
