Dataset related to the research paper "Impact of urban greenery on particulate matter concentrations in street canyons: A local scale study based on street view imagery"

This is the dataset supporting the publication titled "Impact of urban greenery on particulate matter concentrations in street canyons: A local scale study based on street view imagery". In this .xlsx file, there are the longitude and latitude of each sample site along the two study roads in Birmingham, UK (Shenlet Fields Road and Harborne Road), the PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations measured on each sample site by two sensors in each measurement (calibrated), the PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations from the urban background station, the differences between the sensor-recorded data and the urban background station readings, and the residual value as the indicator of street-view-derived parameters’ effect on PM concentration of each sample site. The file contains six sheets, representing the average values of each sample site on the two roads, as well as the separate records for the two sides of the roads. Additionally, the file includes the view indices for each heading and pitch corresponding to each sample site, generated from Google Street View imagery by using semantic segmentation.
