Frequent and Distinctive Species in the Atlas of Living Australia by IBRA Bioregion

This dataset tabulates the ten most frequently occurring species and the ten most "locally distinctive" species for the 89 IBRA Bioregions of Australia (see https://www.dcceew.gov.au/environment/land/nrs/science/ibra). Species occurrence data is sourced from the Atlas of Living Australia. Local distinctiveness ranks are calculated using a relative frequency measure comparing regional frequency with frequency in the whole ALA corpus.
