INVESTIGATION OF VIRTUAL MACHINE PERFORMANCE BASED ON HYPER-V AND VMWARE

Abstract: This article provides a comprehensive study of the performance of virtual machines created based on Hyper-V and VMware. During the research, the theoretical foundations of virtualization technologies, the architecture of Hyper-V and VMware platforms, resource management mechanisms, and their practical capabilities were analyzed. In addition, the efficiency of virtual machines in using processor, RAM, disk, and network resources was comparatively evaluated. The capabilities of the platforms in terms of security, migration, scalability, monitoring, and integration with cloud environments were also examined.
