To investigate age-dependent molecular changes in the cortex and hippocampus of Cyfip2 Arg87Cys knock-in mice, we conducted transcriptome analysis at postnatal weeks 1, 7, 14, 28. We dissected the frontal cortex and hippocampal regions from both hemispheres of each mouse. WT and Cyfip2 Arg87Cys knock-in mice were littermates, with four mice (replicates) prepared for each age-genotype group. After dissection, tissue samples were stored in RNAlater at 4°C overnight and then at -80°C before being processed further for RNA extraction.
