This study aimed to investigate the robustness of human intestinal environment including microbiome and metabolome profiles in response to daily dietary fluctuations from 176 fecal samples obtained from 25 healthy Japanese subjects under 3 different dietary phases. V1-V2 hypervariable region of bacterial 16S rRNA encoding genes were amplified by PCR using universal primer set. The amplicons were analyzed using a MiSeq sequencer.
