Sequences originate from eight bulb mite (Rhizoglyphus robini) populations selected for increased/decreased prevalence of male alternative reproductive tactics (4 population in each selection direction). The F populations have increased proportion of aggressive fighter males with thickened third pair of legs used as weapon. The S populations have increased proportion of scrambler males that are not aggressive and do not poses armaments. The sequences originate from pooled samples (whole body) of males (ca. 50 individuals per sample) and females (ca. 60 individuals per sample) from these populations, developed and maintained at the temperature in which they have evolved (23C), increased (28C) or decreased (18C) temperature.
