Value of net P/C insurance premiums written in Canada 2020-2022, by line

In 2022, total net premiums written in the Canadian auto insurance sector amounted to approximately 26.5 billion Canadian dollars. This is the largest for any line of property and casualty insurance in Canada, and almost twice as large as the next-biggest line, personal property insurance.
