Urban Growth Boundary

The Urban Growth Boundary is adopted as a part of the Durham Comprehensive Plan and defines the geographic limit of the City and County utility service area. It is referenced in both the Durham Unified Development Ordinance and the Durham City Code. Changes to the Urban Growth Boundary can only be approved by a vote of the City Council and/or Board of County Commissioners.城市增长边界（Urban Growth Boundary）被纳入达勒姆综合规划，用于界定达勒姆市及所属县的公用事业服务区域的地理范围。该边界同时被《达勒姆统一开发条例》与《达勒姆市法典》所引用。对城市增长边界的修改，仅可通过市议会及/或县专员委员会的投票表决方能获得批准。
