Supplemental data for: Time Evolution of the Surface Urban Heat Island

This dataset includes diurnal urban and rural surface temperature values for a variety of geography locations, seasons, meteorological conditions, and urban neighbourhood types. The purpose is to assess the time evolution of the surface urban heat island for a variety of scenarios, and furthermore quantify the differences arising from different definitions of "the" urban surface temperature.
