## Example usage

Imagine you have source data with a three digit alpha code representing the country.

Generating a Fact Table, the alpha code would be replaced with the ID/Key found on the country dimension.

This key can then be used to join back across in the future to use any other dimensional attribute.

## **Data update policy**

This is an important note copied over from the [pycountry](https://github.com/pycountry/pycountry) repository, which feeds the data for this dimension.

> No changes to the data will be accepted into pycountry. This is a pure wrapper around the ISO standard using the `pkg-isocodes` database from Debian as is. If you need changes to the political situation in the world, please talk to the ISO or Debian people, not me.
