FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of structurally oriented wood-particle board. Bulk raw briquet consisting of several layers of glued large-size chips is compacted in a hot pressing press into a plate of the desired thickness. Surface of the upper side of the raw briquette or the pressed plate is scanned to detect irregularities and/or point defects of the structure. Then data on localization of detected irregularities and/or point defects of structure are established. Volume of separate irregularities and/or point defects of the structure is determined. Performing target filling of irregularities and/or point defects of structure with filler on the basis of established data on their localization and volume due to that filler is scattered by means of loading distributing device. EFFECT: higher efficiency and simplified process of producing structurally oriented wood-particle board with smooth surface. 15 cl， 6 dwg
