At 7 weeks of age mice were started on a high fat diet (Research Diets D12492) and wereconcurrently dosed with a sham injection, vehicle control, or 1 mg/kg of eitherof the two compounds (inhibitors of inflammation) for 16 weeks. Mice had adlibitum food and water for the entirety of the study with the exception of 12 hof fasting prior to sacrifice. Intestinal contents from small intestine andcolon were collected for microbiota profiling.
