Population size and its distribution, as reflected by age and gender structures and geographical distribution, together with the characteristics related to educational and marital status, are essential data for the setting up of economic and social development plans.Accordingly, data related to size and distribution of population by age groups, gender as well as population density per zone and municipality as given by census of population, housing and Establishments, in addition to data related to education status and marital status, are being collected.This statistic contains data on female population by municipality and age groups in April 2010.
