The complete Master sheet of all identified, filtered, and evaluated WASH tools
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the manuscript "From Mapping to Evaluation: Literature-Informed Scoring of WASH Tools for Digital Readiness, Sectoral Functionality, and Contextual Guidance in Low-Income and Fragile Settings." It provides a comprehensive inventory of 180 candidate tools identified through a systematic review of academic and grey literature. The dataset classifies tools into four primary sectors: Water Supply, Sanitation, Integrated WASH, and Solid Waste Management. For each tool, detailed metadata is provided to support comparative analysis and contextual selection. Key attributes included in this dataset: Tool Identity: Name, Acronym, Developer, and release timeline (First Release and Last Update years). Functionality: Primary and Secondary functions (e.g., Planning/Option Appraisal, Monitoring/Assessment, Risk/Safety, Design/Costing). Digital Maturity: Classification across the digital spectrum (Manual/Paper-based, Digitized, Digital-Interactive, AI-enabled). Access & Usability: Tool type (Framework, Software, Dashboard, Mobile App), Offline capability, and Licensing status (Free, Open, Commercial, Restricted). Evidence Base: Quantitative counts of peer-reviewed and grey literature references, evidence of case study testing, and geographic application. Screening Status: An "Included Tool" column indicates whether the instrument met the specific eligibility criteria (global scope, offline capability, licensing, and testing evidence) for the subsequent detailed expert evaluation phase. This dataset supports the analysis of historical trends in the WASH sector and serves as a navigational resource for practitioners, policymakers, and donors seeking context-appropriate tools for low-income and fragile settings.
