Background variables: basic characteristics/ residence/ occupation/employment/ income/capital assets/ education/ politics/ religion/ readership, mass media, and 'cultural' exposure/ organizational membership</p>本数据集的调查内容包含两大部分：其一为对「van onderen」广播与电视节目的了解与接触情况，此类节目会批判性探讨劳工处境、工会工作与工厂委员会（works-council）等议题；其二为针对工会、自身工作处境及工厂委员会的看法与认知，以及媒介接触情况、政治兴趣、总体生活满意度、收入与住房状况等维度。背景变量涵盖：基础特征、居住情况、职业与雇佣状况、收入、资本资产、受教育程度、政治倾向、宗教信仰、阅读习惯、大众媒介接触情况、「文化」接触程度以及组织成员身份。
