This dataset contains annual time‑series (1990–2020) of glacial, climatic, and hydrological variables for two glacier‑fed lake basins on the Tibetan Plateau: Aksayqin and Ranwu. Variables include mean annual air temperature (MAT_C, °C), mean annual precipitation (MAP_C, mm), glacier cover (Glaciercover, %), lake area (km²), glacier mass balance (GMB, m w.e. yr⁻¹), summer glacier velocity (SlidV_mPERyr, m yr⁻¹), reconstructed glacial erosion rate (ER_cmPERyr, cm yr⁻¹), and lake type. Data are derived from satellite observations (Landsat, Sentinel‑2), climate reanalysis products (ERA5, CHELSA), and ²¹⁰Pb/¹³⁷Cs‑dated sediment cores. Missing values have been removed. Analysis code (Python) for correlation matrices, random forest modeling, and visualization is also available. Please cite the associated research paper and this Zenodo record when using the data.
