This volume provides a record of prisoners' trials at: (a) Broken Hill Circuit Court: 1-3 October 1888, 16-17 April and 15-16 October 1889, 22-24 April and 14-17 October 1890, and 22-23 Apr 1891; and, (b) Broken Hill Quarter Sessions: 5-6 December 1888, 12 June and 4 December 1889, 4-5 June and 3 December 1890, 17-19 March and 17 November 1891. The following information is provided about each prisoner: gaol number, date of trial, name, native country, ship, committed (by whom and when), date received in gaol, offence, judge, verdict, sentence, date of sentence and the judge's remarks.
