These data are our high-pressure sample assemblies, chemical-composition analyses data, the calculated thermal conductivity of iron and Fe-P alloy, and estimated heat flux at the lunar core-mantle boundary. Our data show that small amounts of light elements (e.g. phosphorus) in the lunar core have no significant impact on the core’s thermal conductivity. Also, the result implies that the high-intensity magnetic field era of the lunar dynamo driven by thermal convection perhaps ended before 3.60-3.85 Ga.
