Metagenomic sequencing of stool from foodborne outbreaks for the Undetermined Outbreaks project (UnO)

The Undetermined Outbreaks project (UnO) is aimed at resolving foodborne outbreaks of unknown etiology using metagenomic sequencing. Our goal is to identify novel or changed diarrheal pathogens across outbreak stool sets with strong epidemiological links. These datasets include sequencing from foodborne outbreaks of known and unknown etiology collected by state, territorial, local, tribal, and other public health partners that were used in the development and validation of wet and dry lab tools for UnO.
