PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an aramid paper， capable of manufacturing a thin aramid paper having high density， excellent electrical characteristic， and in addition， mechanical properties， especially， high tensile strength. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an aramid paper includes blending an aramid staple fiber and an aramid fibrid at a mass ratio of 60/40-10/90 to form a sheet-like article， sandwiching the obtained sheet-like article between a pair of heating element， and performing thermal pressure processing treatment process of applying a pressure of 500 kg/cm 2 or over at least twice， wherein the manufacturing method of the aramid paper includes a thermal pressure processing treatment process performed at least twice and including a thermal pressure processing treatment process (a) conducted at a temperature exceeding the glass transition temperature of the aramid， followed by a thermal pressure processing treatment process (b) conducted at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature of the aramid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
