High-pressure synthesis of U, Th and Tc binary nitrides

The aim of the proposed experiment is to synthesize binary nitrides and polynitrides of U, Th and Tc. This research will contribute to our fundamental understanding of actinide chemistry and their fission products, expanding our knowledge of element behavior under extreme conditions. This has potential impact on understanding the behavior of these elements in advanced nuclear fuels.
