Supplementary Material to Birds in Medieval Norway publication

This dataset is formed of supplementary files which correspond to the paper Birds in Medieval Norway. Supplementary Material File 1 (SMF1) is a reference list of unpublished sources cited within the manuscript. These are predominantly archaeological and zooarchaeological grey literature reports. Supplementary Table 1 (ST1) gives the total number of bird bone specimens identified on each of the 21 Norwegian sites in relation to the overall number of identified faunal remains. Supplementary Table 2 (ST2) Gives the bird species representation for the 21 re-examined sites. Finally, Supplementary Table 3 (ST3) Gives the bird species representation for the 33 additional Norwegian sites.
