This project investigates how a dNTP triphosphohydrolase regulates the cell cycle in the bacterium Caulobacter crescentus. Deleting the dNTP triphosphohydrolase increases intracellular dNTP levels and delays the transition from the G1 to the S phase of the cell cycle.
