This dataset contains GPS coordinates of sampling points, landscape characteristics, vegetation, land use, soil degradation indices, and physico-chemical soil parameters. The data were collected through land surveys in 2023 in the villages of Dohoun, Béréba, Wakui, and Sara (Tui Province), as well as Bondokui (Mouhoun Province), within the cotton-based farming systems of western Burkina Faso.
