Measurements of gravity can be used to map variations in mass distribution in the Earth's crust. These variations are due to differences in the composition of the bedrock.
Geophysical ground measurements, gravity contains point information about gravity measurements all over Sweden. From the gravity measurements, Bougueranomalier (mGal) has been calculated in the reference field RG82. Measuring point density varies across the country. The measurements have been carried out by SGU and several other organisations. The locations of the measuring points, the Bougueranomalies of the measurements and the accuracy of the measurements are reported in the data set.
