资源简介:
Over the last decade, several materials strategies - such as anti-fouling hydrogels, surface coatings, and alterations in physical properties have been developed to reduce FBR by minimizing fibrotic encapsulation, though it remains inevitable. To investigate the mechanisms by which the early formation structure of host proteins (i.e. fibrin network) affects macrophage function. We developed a model system to investigate the effects of different fibrin network structures on macrophages by modifying sodium methacrylate alginate with zwitterionic (sulfobetaine) or dopamine (hereafter MSA-ZW/MSA-DA). Our data elucidated alterations in macrophage gene expression, offering insights into the potential mechanisms by which fibrin network structures influence macrophage biological processes. RNA-Seq profilling of macrophages cultured for 24 hours on MSA-ZW and MSA-DA hydrogels.
