RNA sequencing of SIV infected rhesus macaque astroytes. Macaca mulatta

Primary rhesus macaque astrocytes were infected (or not) with a neurovirulent SIV strain (SIV 17E-fr). RNA was isolated and sequenced to identify any changes in gene expression between the samples and controls. Goal of the study was to potentially identify any mRNAs that were downregulated by miRNAs (that were profiled in another study).
