Images from Level 3 Analytical Historic Building Recording at Grove Farm, Harleston Road, Linstead Magna, Suffolk, January 2025

This collection comprises images from a Level 3 Analytical Historic Building Recording at Grove Farm, Harleston Road, Linstead Magna, Suffolk. The work was carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in January 2025. The recording pertains to a range of farm buildings located approximately 40 metres south of Grove Farmhouse, which consists of a threshing barn, granary, stables, and a double-sided cartlodge. Grove Farmhouse itself is understood to have been constructed between 1580 and 1600. Within the farm complex, the threshing barn, stables, and granary are all timber- framed structures and are also likely to date to this period. The threshing barn and granary are linked by a Victorian double-sided brick cartlodge.
