South African National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (SANHANES-1) 2011-12: Visiting point - All provinces

The data set for dissemination contains 396 variables and 17 938 cases of respondents aged 15 and older who participated in the SANHANES-1 Visiting Point study. Of the total number of cases, 7 340 individuals volunteered to undergo the visiting point study. Topics covered in the visiting point form are: geographic and interview particulars, interview details, biographic details of the respondent, household members and their characteristics, food security, hunger scale, months of food shortages, alcohol, health insurance, housing household goods and services, accessibility of services, cost of living, refusal particulars.
