Transcriptomic profile of cells KO for the scramblases Vmp1 and Tmem41b

In this project, we generated ESCs depleted for Vmp1 and Tmem41b alone or in combination by CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing. We characterized differences in gene expression by performing RNAseq analysis. We compared the transcriptomic profile of WT, Vmp1KO, Tmem41b KO and Vmp1&Tmem41b KO ESCs. Vmp1&Tmem41b KO ESCs show a specific defect in differentiating to extra-embryonic stem (XEN) cells. To identify the reason for this defect, transcriptomic analysis was performed at an early stage of the differentiation process (day 2) of WT and Vmp1&Tmem41b KO ESCs
