Perception of global image contrast is not predicted by RMS contrast but by integration and suppression of local contrasts

Raw data from a study by Meese, Baker & Summers entitled: "Perception of global image contrast is not predicted by RMS contrast but by integration and suppression of local contrasts". The stimuli were textures comprising small patches of grating of different contrasts, and the task was one of contrast matching. See paper for details once published. Each block of data in the spreadsheet contains raw staircase data (number of correct trials and total number of trials at a range of contrast levels) for four repetitions of a single condition. Threshold and slope values for each repetition are also given.
