Untargeted LC–MS serum metabolomics in a colitis mouse model treated with the microbiota-regulating nanomedicine MRA@RP
收藏资源简介:
This study applies untargeted liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS)–based serum metabolomics to characterize metabolic alterations in a dextran sulfate sodium–induced colitis mouse model and to evaluate the therapeutic effects of the microbiota-regulating nanomedicine MRA_RP. Serum samples from healthy, colitis control and MRA_RP-treated mice were analyzed, and multivariate statistics (including PCA and volcano plots) were used to identify differentially abundant metabolites. MRA_RP treatment shifted the metabolic profile of colitis mice toward that of healthy controls. These data support a role for MRA_RP in comprehensive metabolic reprogramming linked to gut microbiota modulation, contributing to the amelioration of ulcerative colitis and related neuropsychiatric symptoms.
