Net claims incurred by auto insurance in Canada 1990-2022

In 2022, the net claims incurred by the auto insurance segment in Canada amounted to approximately 16.3 billion Canadian dollars. This is around 600 million Canadian dollars higher than the previous year, but almost three times higher than the net auto insurance claims recorded in 1990.
