Hospital beds in Spain 2010-2022

In 2022, the number of hospital beds in Spain amounted to 159,049 units, up from 158,567 hospital beds registered a year earlier. Moreover, the highest number of hospital beds reached approximately 162,538 in 2011, nearly 3,500 more beds than in 2022. That same year, Catalonia was the autonomous community with the most hospitals in Spain.
