This is the supporting data for the PhD thesis titled “Interdisciplinary investigations of the Jurassic and Cretaceous terrestrial ecosystems”. These data are evidence supporting the absorption features and spectra for each amber sample from the Hailar Basin in Inner Mongolia and the age constrains for the dating sample from the western Liaoning and Inner Mongolia.These data include raw FTIR data and U-Pb analytical results for the YM-1 from the Zhalainuoer coal mine and ZL-1 from the Yimin coal field in Inner Mongolia, the Ar data corrected for decay, blank and mass discrimination (1 _ errors) of the Reshuitang dating sample from the Western Liaoning, and U-Pb data of the Jiufengshan Formation from the Naketa site, North Great Xing’an Range.
