资源简介:
Three new species are described from eastern North America with phylogenetic alliances to members of Inocybe subsect. Praetervisae or the Praetervisa clade. All three are characterized by their relatively robust size, angular-nodulose basidiospores, entirely or nearly entirely pruinose stipe with or without a marginate bulbous base, absence of a cortina, thick-walled cystidia, and putative ectomycorrhizal associations with hardwoods such as Quercus, Carya, and/or Fagus in forested and urban settings. Inocybe leucocaulis sp. nov. is recognized from Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio; Inocybe monachella sp. nov. is recorded from Indiana, Ohio, and Louisiana; and Inocybe fatiscens sp. nov. is recognized from Tennessee, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. A combined phylogenetic analysis of ITS and 28S rDNA sequences supports the phylogenetic distinction of each new species with robust support. The phylogeny also recovers three internal well-supported subgroups (clades I, II, and III) ascribable to subsect. Praetervisae. Overall, 23 species-level lineages may belong to this subsection, but multigene analyses and further taxon sampling are needed to evaluate the monophyly of subsect. Praetervisae. Phylogenetic trees of combined ITS and 28S are presented, in addition to illustrations of key diagnostic features. DNA sequences of rpb1 and rpb2 gene sequences were also produced for supplemental identification and future multigene phylogenetic analyses.
