Supplementary data for "Integrative assessment of yield performance, fruit quality, and marker-assisted selection for bacterial wilt resistance in bell pepper across multiple years"
收藏资源简介:
This study integrates multi-year field evaluation, DAS-ELISA-based serological detection, and SSR marker analysis to dissect genetic variation, yield-related traits, and bacterial wilt resistance in 26 bell pepper genotypes. Significant variability, high heritability, and strong trait associations identified key yield-contributing traits such as marketable fruits per plant and average fruit weight. DAS-ELISA and SSR marker CAMS451 effectively differentiated resistant and susceptible lines. Several genotypes, including HPC-22-3-SP and HPC-22-V-39D, showed superior performance, leading to their release as the varieties Him Palam Shimla Mirch-1 and Him Palam Shimla Mirch-2. This research provides robust genetic insights for breeding high-yielding, wilt-resistant bell pepper cultivars.
