Characterization of the role of SETDB1 in Muscle stem cells during skeletal muscle regeneration

Muscle regeneration is process where different type of cells are interacting together to ensure a proper muscle regeneration. We aim to determine the role of the histone lysine methyltransferase SETDB1 in muscle stem cells. As muscle stem cells are the central protagonist of muscle regeneration, we performed bulkl RNA-seq on muscle stem cells extracted from mice in vivo to observe the change between the control condition and the condition where the gene Setdb1 is deleted specifically in the muscle stem cells.
