资源简介:
Pursuing development through innovation and fostering improved socioeconomic conditions has become increasingly present in discourse, policies, and strategies in Brazil. However, the factors driving innovation for development still require further research, given the country’s substantial disparities in economic, social, demographic, environmental, and cultural aspects due to its vast territory and regional diversity. This study used the Brazil Innovation and Development Index (IBID), developed by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), along with multivariate data analysis techniques to investigate key innovation factors that can help Brazilian states reach higher levels of development and identify which factors should be prioritized. The results identified ten key innovation factors for state development, prioritizing four of them when designing strategies and policies. This research advances discussions on the development of the states through innovation, supporting more targeted, accurate, and effective innovation policies and strategies that consider their unique aspects.
