The Philadelphia Code requires contractors and other trade workers to be licensed through the City of Philadelphia before performing construction work. Philadelphia licensed contractors and trades are subject to licensing requirements established in Title 9 of the Philadelphia Code. The Department’s Audits and Investigations Unit (AIU) is responsible for enforcing these requirements. This dataset represents all licensing violations issued to contractors and trade licensees since August 2020.
