Gengar, known in Japan as Gangar, is a dual type poison and ghost Pokémon and was introduced in the first generation of games. Gengar is a round, spiky, purple and gray Pokémon with red eyes and a sinister grin. Gengar is the final evolution in his family, beginning as Ghastly, then Haunter.
