Concurrent invasive disseminated Nocardia farcinica and Candida infections in a patient undergoing long-term glucocorticoid therapy for autoimmune thrombocytopenia: A case report

The experience of diagnosing and treating the extremely rare co-infection of Nocardia farcinica and Candida albicans in patients with this autoimmune thrombocytopenia is presented and shared.
