Institutions studying lake carbon cycling

These data were created to map where (at what institutions) lake carbon cycling research has been conducted globally during the past 15 years. No of pubs are records taken from Web of Science during Summer 2017 = number of hits or number of publications that had the words lake carbon cycling in title and abstract for each institution. Search terms = “lake” and “carbon” and “cycle” in “limnology” and “ecology”. The paper that includes a map of these data is under review currently at a peer-review journal.
